About Bebras challenges
The Bebras Challenge is an international initiative aiming to promote computer science and computational thinking among school students at all ages.
Goals
To introduce students to computational thinking through engaging, interactive tasks and foster problem-solving skills essential for the digital age.
Challenge process
Participants solve a set of short tasks within a specified time. These tasks are designed to be fun, engaging, and require no prior knowledge of computer science.
Age categories
The challenge is divided into several age categories, ensuring tasks are appropriate and challenging for each group.
Scoring
Each task is worth a certain number of points. Participants aim to solve as many tasks as possible within the given time limit.
International community
Bebras is a global initiative, with challenges held in over 50 countries worldwide, fostering a sense of international community among participants.
